Brand Positioning and Messaging
We clarify your brand positioning (what sets you apart from everyone else doing what you do) and identify your key marketing messages for use across your website, content, and marketing efforts to create cohesion and a brand story that people resonate with. You can create and talk about whatever you want, and as long as it ties back to these pieces, you’ll be building a brand people can bond with. We may also research trademark-free business names and taglines if needed.
Graphic and Visual Brand Elements
We make recommendations for your visual branding, including logos, website, digital or printed collateral, or marketing changes to better express your positioning and brand story through every touchpoint. This includes recommended colors, imagery, iconography, typography, and similar guidelines. If you’re a new brand or redoing your site, we’ll include multiple mood boards for guidance!
Website and Funnel Strategy
In addition to visual branding recommendations, we develop a strategy for helping your website become a place your customers want to visit and purchase from. This includes the overall organization, sales funnels, and recommendations for list building so that you can nurture your customers.
Content and Copywriting Strategy
This includes guidelines for your website copy, blog posts, email marketing, and other content to ensure brand cohesion and clarity of messaging. We’ll focus on storytelling, positioning, supporting key marketing messaging, incorporating SEO strategies, and general guidelines to help align your copywriting efforts.
Online and Offline Marketing Strategies
We include detailed online and offline marketing strategies. We focus heavily on Pinterest, YouTube, and marketing efforts that will appreciate over time and drive traffic to your website or online store. While we don’t recommend social media because it depreciates quickly, we do include guidelines and strategies in case you want to pursue it. We’ll also include other strategies that make sense for your business: influencer marketing, partnerships and collaborations, product placement, speaking and interviews, and anything else that’s relevant.
SEO Audit and Strategies
You’ll receive a list of at least 15 focus keywords based on your products, Pinterest keywords and pin titles optimized to rank, a massive list of thought leadership content titles with a headline score above 70, and five fully outlined thought leadership pieces that you can immediately execute (these are epic blog posts or pages that help drive traffic based on your keywords). We also provide opportunities to generate quality backlinks from other sites, which helps boost your position in search results (guest posts, features, interviews, etc.) SEO allows your marketing efforts to appreciate over time. Rather than disappearing into the void of social media, it will continue to gain traction over time with less effort from you. Lastly, this includes competitor analysis to see what your competitors are ranking for and how to use that to position your site to overtake them!
Offers and Customer Journeys
Whether you’re selling a service, product, or program—online or offline—we’ll assess your offerings, suggest adjustments to make them more effective, and consider customer nurturing, upsells, and retention strategies. We may suggest new offers based on your goals or outline different packages. For e-commerce businesses, we’ll look at shop strategies, promotions, product ideas, and packaging. For nonprofits, we map out donation and fundraising strategies.

Once you sign on, you’ll get to dive into our comprehensive three-part brand strategy workbook which will allow you to organize all your thoughts, goals, visions, and expectations for your brand and business. We’ve been using and refining this workbook for two decades!
Step 2: Initial Deep Dive Session
We’ll meet for a two-hour block, where we’ll dive even deeper into who you are, what your business is about, who your ideal clients are, and why you do what you do. We’ll also clarify your short and long-term business goals, which are essential to this process.
Step 3: Research, Positioning, and Strategizing
After our Deep Dive Session we’ll conduct further research around your ideal clients and market, as well as dig into your existing branding, marketing, website, promotions, online and offline communications, social media profiles, content, and packages/services to develop strategies that help you reach your business goals and increase your revenue and client base more quickly (you can read more about these two phases in more depth below).
Step 4: Custom Strategy Suite Guidebook
After researching and positioning, we’ll craft a custom guidebook for you which will include our recommendations and plans for content tweaks and/or rewrites, guidance for visual brand strategy, marketing strategies and action plans, and any other steps we would recommend for you to take within your business, branding, and marketing efforts. These will be clearly laid out ideas and strategies with clear options for execution (and a detailed priority list). Step 5: Guidebook Review Session
